He can still take his case to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR), as long as he appeals to it within 14 days, and that court agrees to hear the appeal.
Incredibly, at the same time lawyers representing Sweden were reassuring the English Court of Appeal that Mr Assange would be safe in its care, Sweden was negotiating a large compensation package for Mr Agiza for kidnapping him from the street, binding him with silver tape, and delivering him blindfolded and trussed like a chicken to an American CIA plane at Arlanda airport for a midnight flight to Hell.
I'm sure Mr Assange's mother has nothing to worry about. As its lawyers piously said in court, Sweden would never do a secret deal with the Americans to illegally hand over a valuable prisoner. Who would imagine such a thing?
Swedish prison: incommunicado, solitary confinement... hmmm I guess his mother doesn't know much about the Swedish luxury hotel prison system does she?
The problem is that in the "good old days" governments could, and did, do all kinds of "unconventional" or "leagally questionable" things and no one would ever know. Now, with the internet, social media etc etc this is impossible - people will find out eventually, with or without Wikileaks.
Anyway, when was the last time the US won a war? (dont count WW1 and WW2 as you turned up late when everyone else was knackered!). The US's record is almost as bad as Italy's !!!
your country has had its arse kicked solid for the last 20 years straight by everyone they have attacked and is on its knees. sorry make that 40 as you also got absolutely whipped in vietnam. financially crippled and running with its tail between its legs. one of the least educated, most obese nations on the planet..
no one cares about the USA. except maybe sweden.which speaks volumes about them.
Bet it will say "Change at Arlanda for Dulles, Washington".
Moral: don't play stink-finger with the CIA.
