REFLECTIONS OF A TWITTER VIRGIN…. »
"I confess to having been reluctant to embrace Twitter. But I confess myself a bit of a convert. The great TV critic Clive James once said about “Dallas”, “I came to mock but I stayed to pray”. I wouldn’t go that far, but I have found my first two weeks on Twitter (@hmapauljohnston) both fun and informative. It’s been..." READ »

If he isn't, it makes it hard to believe the embassador is telling us the truth.
Much like a drug chain... Assange is the pusher, but the supplier is the real problem.
The other burning question is: what precisely will Hillary Clinton be here to discuss with the Swedish government when she visits Sweden?
Julian Assange and Bradley Manning should share the Nobel Peace Prize. They are heroes. And they have done more for humanity than Barack Obama, the man who transformed torture from a war crime to a policy dispute n the U.S., ever has or ever will.
Webarchive revealed that one of the accusers had (before she hastily removed it) listed rape accusations as a great method for any and all women to get revenge on their ex-boyfriends.
When she found out that Assange had been with another girl in Sweden, she contacted the other girl, and, within a matter of hours the two reported Assange for rape with the Swedish police.
In other words, this does not appear to fall under the classic definiton of 'rape' in the rest of the Western world.
Considering this week, a guy got 2 years for "hacking" his exs facebook..Imagine what a real hacker would get 500 years or so, and thats even without the fake rape charges. Although he wont get a sentence as strong as the "ultimate evil" file sharers.. Bu the can be happy to know that murders, rapings, armed robbers will get off with far lighter sentences
I didnt realise the swedish flag was red white and blue with stars and stripes until I arrived in sweden and saw it EVERYWHERE.
I hope Sweden knows and understands that the world will be watching closely to understand if this is a political sting & payback operations regarding Wikileaks or if this is how Swedish laws handle rape allegations.
I personally feel that this is all about politics and has little to do with real justice. If that is the case, it will come out in the trail and in the history books. If that happens, Sweden will never be viewed the same again.
On the other hand, i wouldn't advise Assange to book a flight to New York city any time in the hear future.
BTW, i'm LMAO off at all the paranoid tin haters on this thread
Bradley Manning should be executed by firing squad at sun rise for the crime of treason on public television for all to see.
As far as Assange goes or the charges that have been brought forth against him here in Sweden I see no relation with any claims or non-claims by other countries. There are valid EU warrants issued. Sweden has a justice system. Assange must have his day in court.
Neither the rich nor the LEFTIST radicals such as Assange that titillate the peanut gallery are not above the law.
I do not believe at this time that he will be convicted but I recognize that his actions were reprehensible. Assange had a one night stand with a woman in which he practiced safe sex. The next morning he forcefully rolled the same woman over and forcefully engaged in unsafe sex. This was wrong but will be darn hard to prove. I believe there is a second case by another woman but I am unaware of the details.
The admitted Treason by Bradley Manning and the rape charges against Assange in Sweden are unrelated.
