A self-proclaimed sex addict from the UK has been fined in Sweden after using a camera hidden in a briefcase to secretly film a female model undressing in a Stockholm hotel room.

The incident took place on May 15th at the Sheraton Hotel on Tegelbacken near Stockholm's central train station, the Expressen newspaper reported.

As he was on his way to a conference at the hotel, the 36-year-old British citizen discreetly placed a briefcase in room 555 – a room where a female model would later disrobe.

The briefcase was outfitted with a hidden camera which allowed the man to secretly record the woman when she later undressed.

But thanks to a small indicator lamp on the bag, the James Bond-esque recording apparatus was later discovered and police were notified.

Inside the bag they found a camera as well as a digital memory card, both of which were confiscated.

When questioned about the spy bag, the 36-year-old admitted that he had recorded the model on two occasions but claimed the recordings of her in the nude were only for "personal use" and that he hadn't intended to publish them online.

He also admitted to having filmed another woman in a similar manner during his visit to Sweden.

The Brit explained further to police that his secret sex filming was due to his documented sex addition, for which he was undergoing treatment.

"I'm also trying to solve the problem by filming women with their permission," he told police, according to Expressen.

Following the man's admission, prosecutors offered the man a summary fine of 15,000 kronor ($2,060) in lieu of taking the case to court.

The model at the centre of the sex addict spying controversy was said to be "scarred" by the incident, with a witness telling police she considered the whole episode as "distasteful".

What a seedy incident.

"I'm also trying to solve the problem by filming women with their permission," he told police, according to Expressen."

It doesn't sound as though he did it in this instance: w@nker!

How did he get access to the girl's room? And who happens to be a model?

@ ledax

you're right, something strange here. How could he have access to the model's room and how could he know that she was going to disrobe? plus he had to know how to recover the bag. And it seems that he already did it once to the same model? fishy.

I hope the fine was given to the model as she was the one violated by this creep. And is the behavior somehow excusable if he has a documented history of being a sex addict? Like it would be ok to take naked pics of kids if he had a documented history of pedophilia? Sorry, not buying it!

He was stupid enough to have an indicator on his camera (bag) he deserves to be busted yeah I agree with you guys he is a low life!
