Peevish pet spreads fear in Malmö neighbourhood

Police in southern Sweden, who were called out to apprehend a loose dog that was reportedly terrorizing a neighbourhood in the Käglinge district of Malmö, were surprised to find that the aggressive canine was a Chihuahua.

“I did think it was going to be a bigger dog than that,” said Calle person of the Skåne police to local paper Skånskan.

Police were alerted to the area to apprehend the cantankerous canine, after the little mutt had gained access to a building and in a fit of temper bit another dog, according to the paper.

Witnesses also said it had been seen scampering around in the neighbourhood barking and acting aggressively against passers-by but without actually biting any of the people it encountered.

The Chihuahua, named after a state in Mexico, is the smallest breed of dog. It comes in various shapes and sizes but rarely grow taller than 30-38 centimeters high.

Officers looking for the peevish pet returned to the station empty handed however, as the little dog had scarpered by the time they got to the scene.

According to police however, no one had been seriously injured by the dog’s violent behavior.

“The canine that was bitten is recovering well from the ordeal. We still haven’t found the dog either, I guess that could be because of its size, “ Persson told Skånskan.

Afraid of a chihuahua...... the mind reels.

Sweden is full of cowards. The only variable is just what everyday normal thing a particular resident of the cowardly kingdom is irrationally afraid of.

I'm open to another explanation if anyone can offer one....

Reminds me of a women I saw a few weeks back that was allowing herself to be dragged around by her Pomeranian dog. The dog weighs about 1.5 kilos (at best) ... how exactly does it physically overpower a 55+ kilo human being?

Some people are just stupid ...

A Chihuahua? Will he/she suffer secret rendition back to Mexico?

As an extreme lover of dogs and member of several dog clubs at which I had the opprotunity to train several thousand people and their dogs in hunting, tracking, obedience and protection, I gained an opinion on Chihuahua dogs and their handler/owner. It is not favourable. Only a very few countered that opinion, giving some faint hope.
