"likes him" as of working people? Fas 3 has huge amount of "freelancers" who refuse to work for corporate "pigs" and would like to express their personality through a job that fits their core being. Not actually people who cannot find a job.
Social democrats approach is to actually create a situation where the working class is slaving for those who are "stressed" and must stay at home. Reinfeld maintained an excellent economic situation in the most difficult times since the WWII. He avoided getting into huge national debts and Encouraged spending which actually saved Sweden. Only the fact that he smashed the social democrats directly AFTER the economic turmoil should say something.
Not how I see it. Rather than -maintain- I would say -dismantling- the excellent economic situation! Governments through the 1990s and early 2000s built this excellent economic situation, which also has its roots back into the policies that dominated Sweden during the 20th century. However, the current government's policies have started to break down those foundations and we can see that not only in the health care system and unemployment, as Great Scott, points out but also in the education system and the defence (I notice a recent survey put confidence among Swedish army officers in the Government's defence policy at 25%).
Sweden had more forward looking policies through the 20th century and a more equal society that the US. The equality in Sweden contributes significantly to Sweden's success and the current government has started destroying that equality as well. Hence, we do not have as bad a situation as the US. But as we head towards more sever problems during the next 40 years the current governments erosion of the foundation of Sweden's success well bring Sweden more in line with the economic problems of the US.
If you want to understand why Sweden became such a success and has such a strong economy have a look at : - The Spirit Level: Why More Equal Societies Almost Always Do Better - by Prof. Richard G. Wilkinson.
And for an overview of the coming problems and why our current government has set us up for a worst situation in the future have a look at : - 2052

- will beat the hell of Reinfeldt -
I'm not so confident. People have a short term, stupid nature and I think most people will look with a short term, narrow focus and see they have more money in their pockets and will think, therefore, Reinfeldt has done a good job. No idea of what went in to get us here nor any idea of what will come our way.
As Noam Chomsky says : -The general population doesn't know what's happening and it doesn't even know that it doesn't know -
