Stockholm man set on fire in robbery torture

A man has been charged with aggravated robbery and assault after he and several accomplices tortured another teenager in southern Stockholm, setting the victim on fire and demanding the pin code to his personal bank card.

The victim of the assault, a 19-year-old man from Jordbro, south of Stockholm, explained in police interrogations that he thought his life was over after being doused with lighter fuel and lit on fire.

“It smelled like when you light a grill,” said the victim, according to the Aftonbladet newspaper.

The three attackers lit the man on fire and prevented him from extinguishing the flames by holding him in place with a foot in his back.

The incident transpired in late June after the victim had spent a night out. As he slept at a bus stop in Haninge, he was woken by a hit to the face.

Then he was subjected to 40 minutes of torture by his three attackers, who were aged 16, 18 and 23.

The trio forced the man to reveal his pin code to his bank card and then took money out of his account.

Unsatisfied with their haul, they stole the man’s jacket and shoes, then dragged him into the woods and lit him on fire. The victim explained to police that he could smell the lighter fluid as it was poured onto him.

The man managed to escape and alerted authorities, but sustained serious burns to his back, neck and scalp, arm and side.

“I thought I was going to die,” the man said in interrogation, according to the paper.

The 23-year-old who led the attack has been charged with aggravated assault and robbery. The two younger teens were charged with abetting the assault.

While the oldest of the trio blames his accomplices for the crimes, he couldn't explain how the victim’s blood ended up on his pants.

What the heck is wrong with people?!! Everywhere you look all it is is a bunch of young punks robbing, beating and killing people. Parents need to take control of their children!!!

Knowing the typical Swedish judicial ruling, I think that the attackers would probably get 6 months in jail.

Apparently the parents are too busy on their iPhones tuning into fb to notice what their "darlings" are up to. Parenting in western civilisation has long gone the way of the Incas, The bloody "do gooders" and legal system have destroyed "parenting" .... why, you may ask ... because the parents have been led into a big lie, that they are not allowed to punish their kids, otherwise they will end up in court. Well, I have news for all you parents, it is your right to be a parent and also your right to issue punishment to your kids, you as parents are the adults and you as parents are responsible for your "darlings" behaviour. A good old ass whipping is what most of the kids need today. Bloody Retrobates!!!

Parents?? Well this is the normal way of life in Somalia. These are the ones we bring in totally unsupervised and hope a miracle will make them integrated fully if they get an apartment, food and money. Sweden has a good thought by bringing in all the ones that no other country wants (the most hard integrated ones) ...not working though. Underdog ourselves to these people used to a dictatorship will make it worse as they know nothing else. You steal, kill and shout for more you survive... Islam is known for keeping people uneducated to keep people in controll and we are asking them to make mature decisions. These people are brainwashed and there is a reason why they are kept totally out of anything to say in their own countries. This is the worst hate crime I have ever heard off and I see that media has held us in the dark once again what has happend. The wring people were the perpetrators. I demand that we demonstrate ion his behalf. Sweden need to fight back. For you who understand Swedsh http://avpixlat.info/2012/09/06/inget-fackeltag-for-eldtorterade-rudolf/

@Briancito- It's pretty easy to see that you don't live in Sweden. Nothing against you, but don't comment on things that you don't know about. If you want to talk about the parents in this case, they definitely weren't on their iphones because they probably don't even know what a computer is. The mothers probably gave up trying to control their 8 or 9 children a long time ago. That, coupled with the ME/NA community's love of violent crime, is what led to this assault. Where are the protests against hate crime now?

fiktaid: They're not going to prison... The 16-year-old will go to a juvenile home where he can have his 5h of free time every day and then come home to a huge table of publically paid halal delicasies. The other two will get community service and work for two weeks cleaning a swimming pool somewhere and than a pat on the head and a "we understand that this is a cuitural misunderstanding, but we'll spend some more tax money on you and once you get a citizenship and free travels to Somalia you'll understand how to behave in Sweden"...

The 19 year old is a seriously deranged psychopath and I certainly hope he will get a lot more than the insultingly trivial sentenceand fine (if any) that he will most likely be given. Barcelona for example has many pickpockets who, without even being seen, make away with valuables for socially unacceptable but at least understandable financial gain in a nation with 40% youth unemployment. In contrast, these three vommit bags are already behaving like serial killers, and the Swedish justice system will sentence them to a month of two of group hugs from a team of therapists and theen assume that they will be cured.

First of all, the "19 year old" was actually born in 1989, but he lied to Swedish authorites when he moved here (anybody surprised?).

The perps are:

Abdalla Sharif Mohamed Ali

Joel Contreras Gonzalez

Jonathan Saldes Barcia

Yep, blond and blue-eyed, as usual.

I really hope they have no Swedish citizenship so these animals can be deported. Scared walking the same streets like these people.

It is sooooo disturbing to have to go to other media to find the truth about who did it.

Following is what I found: Now, most recently, we learned about another event in Sweden. 18-year-old Rudolf Moilanen, was on his way home late at night. He was sitting alone in a bus station in Swedish Jordbro. several men arrived at the bus station who spoke English with each other. First they beat Rudolf unconscious. Then they poured fuel on his body, and lit it on fire. Then, they kicked his body down a hill.

Miraculously, Rudolf has woken up, and is alive, but will be injured for life. In the hospital he could give details about the event. Just the other day, a Somali youth was arrested as a prime suspect in the crime. Rudolf believes the others were Arabs.
