thanks for setting us straight on what day it is. We are fast - but not that fast.
But public opinion in the past had caused a concern in regards to the public perception of such.
How does one socially engineer a situation to change the perception of a nation to change a general perception or view ?
Could it be as simple as to use such groups or pockets of resistance and turn it against the people? Through the use of fear and propaganda? Under the umbrella guise of a national threat?
Riksbank last night didn't work when people tried to visit the page, however the name servers that direct a URL to its host did. Which really questions what brought down the page?
Another consideration is what happened if it was actually propaganda and fear mongering through newspapers that actually brought down the site? If a story is fabricated before it happens and that leads to thousands of people to visit a specific site at a certain time and it crashes ..... Is that really the work of a "Hacking group" or the work of another group with an agenda to ensure public perception is changed through a false and deceptive manner?
Had a group really wanted to inflict attention, would it not go after key areas such as stock trading institutions which could inflict monetary harm to a government or nation?
Obviously, as a situation like this can snowball and pick up a few extra nutters along the way .... But many could argue that is in fact, simply entrapment through deceptive means.
Another interesting thing with the story thats covered in this story today, is the URL to a youtube account that issued such threats. The youtube channel that issued a statement had hundreds of videos from the same group. yet this new channel only hosts 1 video? Who is to say this hasn't been fabricated in an attempt to deceive by a group not associated with the group it claims to be from?
The whole thing smells.
And given the chain of events and observation of changes over the past 2 or 3 years it really starts to question if this "perfect storm" of social change has happened with any influence from any specific agenda group.
