The incentive to be the best, to win the Gold must be kept alive and you don't do this by saying things like "Won the silver", you don't do that, you "lose the Gold". Think Team GB and all the Gold we won at the olympics, nobody got any praise for coming second. Keep it that way...... so indeed, poor Swedish skiers, I wish you better luck next time when you might just win the Gold, however the hysteria surrounding these silvers just might take the edge you need away to perfom that little bit better next time round.
Ridicolous. Calling them losers is a joke. There is no shame to be happy about second place and still be upset for not coming in first. The one doesn`t exclude the other. If that`s your attituide then you should be disapointed that the UK only got 29 gold medals.
