Lars Vilks on Al-Qaeda 'wanted dead or alive' list

Controversial Swedish artist Lars Vilks is reported to be one of eleven people on a list of targets for extremists published by an Al-Qaeda linked group, according to a Reuters report

American pastor Terry Jones, writer Salman Rushdie, Dutch politician Geert Wilders and Danish artist Kurt Westergaard were others mentioned.
The targets are listed with name and photo in a two page spread entitled "Yes we can. A bullet a day keeps the infidel away" and shows a mock up of Terry Jones being shot in the head.
The pamphlet, published under the name Inspire Magazine, also called on French troops to leave Mali and gives advice on how to ignite a car.
The magazine has been in circulation since July 2010 and typically includes tips on how to carry out various terrorist activities and attacks.
Lars Vilks has faced numerous death threats and a suspected assassination plot since his drawing of the Muslim prophet with the body of a dog was first published by Swedish regional daily Nerikes Allehanda in 2007.
It illustrated an editorial on the importance of freedom of expression.
The drawing by Vilks prompted protests by Muslims in the town of Örebro, west of Stockholm, where the newspaper is based.
Egypt, Iran and Pakistan also made formal complaints about the drawing.

@#1, hey morun, do you really think that the media here is friendly to the right-wing nationalists? Which arab country they imported you anyway? We have a morun here that tries to defend the al-qaeda and that's ok with you right the local?
Obviously, you cannot help your id0cy so I will just assume that it is a medicated condition of some sort.
No, I do not think the media is friendly to the right. I suspect, however, that the mainstream media's target market is more easily enticed to purchase papers or click on stories that portend death and destruction at the hands of the dark hordes amassing on Sweden's borders. A quick Google search will show you the intensity with which nationalist movements are calling for a race war as well as a significant number of race-based hate crimes committed by the right that I suspect is equal in number to those committed by the Islamic terrorist. My question is why is one given more airtime than the other? I wonder if there is more fear of one than the other among natives and why.
If you think a non-muslim Arab escapes the "them" label or the terrorist stigma in Swedish society, you're nuts. You cannot separate the race issue from the Islam issue. They are two sides of the same coin. You ever hear about Nazi skinheads selecting only the Muslims in the minority communities for eradication? Do you think they are going around saying, "scuse me mr. darkie, but are you Muslim or Christian?" before deciding whether or not to stick a steel-toed boot in the poor fella's back?
I am not an Islam sympathizer. I am a westerner. But neither am I ignorant to the dynamics of hate. You are obviously a simple, run-of-the-mill racist. You like to scream and get aggressive, but you sure don't say much that makes any sense.
