"Democracy, human rights, freedom of expression standards in Europe are very high. Unfortunately at times, terrorism exploits that.
Those people who have something to do with terrorism... make use of this superiority of European democracies, and turn it into a weakness in a way" Gül said.

Approximately 400 Turkish soldiers (retired or in active duty) are being held in prisons due to a complicated conspiracy called 'Balyoz' and 'Ergenekon'.
Some people lost their lives or committed suicide because of these false accusations or depression.
