Nude smoker allowed to stay in home

Neighbours complained that the woman's public nudity was inappropriate, adding that she had sexually assaulted two workmen and discarded cigarette ends outside the building. She had also been lax in the way she dealt with her trash and had not properly kept her time in the laundry room, according to magazine Hem & Hyra.
The landlord had unsuccessfully tried to talk the woman into improving her behaviour, but she insisted that she could walk around naked if she wanted to. She denied the other accusations against her.
The case was taken to the Regional Rent and Tenancy Tribunal. The tribunal ruled in December that the woman's contract could be terminated. The woman appealed to the Svea Court of Appeal in Stockholm, which ruled that she should be allowed to stay.
The court said that while the woman had behaved inappropriately and had not carried out her obligations as a tenant, her offences were not so serious as to warrant her eviction.
