Support for Christian Democrats below parliamentary requirement

A new poll has revealed that support for Sweden's opposition parties has increased following the government's autumn budget.
- Christian Democrat support drops: poll (19 May 13)
- More Swedes in favour of joining Nato: poll (16 May 13)
- Swedish euro scepticism hits all time high (6 May 13)
According to Synovate's September poll, the Social Democrats, the Left Party and the Greens now enjoy 56 percent voter suppport, compared to just 40.2 percent for the government.
Since the previous measurement, the Social Democrats have surged by three percent to 44.6 percent.
The Liberals and the Left Party have also seen an increase in support, but the Christian Democrats have slipped one percent. The polll, which was published in Friday's Dagens Nyheter, sees them languishing on 3.9 percent.
2,209 people were interviewed for the poll between September 12th and 26th. Support for Sweden's main parties is as follows:
Moderates: 23.8 percent (-1.5)
Centre Party: 5.7 percent (-0.2)
Liberal Party: 6.2 (+0.2)
Christian Democrats: 3.9 (-1.0)
Social Democrats: 44.6 percent (+3.0)
Left Party: 5.8 percent (+0.2)
Greens Party: 5.6 percent (-0.5)
