Trade between Sweden and Taiwan is healthy, according to Henrik Byström from the Swedish Trade Council, but there is still plenty of scope for improvement.
Looking toward the future of trade relations between the two countries, Bystrom aims at broadening the council’s presence. “There are at present some 60 Swedish companies here, but I think many more companies would be needed to set up a local presence,” he said.

A physician from Lund University has delved into the correlation between impotence and heart disease:
In a dissertation from Lund University in Sweden, the physician Rasmus Borgquist has managed to show that this reasoning is correct.
“One of our studies shows that otherwise healthy men with impotence show signs of early atherosclerosis in the coronary arteries of the heart. In another study we saw that men with impotence evince a higher incidence of high blood pressure, high blood fat, abdominal fat, and other traditional risk factors for heart disease,” he says.

The Danish football federation is not happy with the punishment meted out by UEFA following the dramatic Euro qualifier against Sweden.
The federation also pointed out that Denmark will find it difficult to play its games 250 km away from Copenhagen, as the European governing body has demanded.
Jim Stjerne Hansen, the secretary general of the Danish soccer federation, said there are no UEFA-approved stadiums in Denmark that are located more than 250 kilometers (155 miles) away from the capital.

Sweden’s foreign and trade ministers paid a visit to Statoil’s Melkøya gas plant on Sunday.
The Swedish Foreign Minister said to NRK Radio that the High North is getting more and more important for all the Nordic countries, as well as Russia. –The Barents Sea could become one of the most important energy provinces in Europe and the world, he stressed.
Analysts believe that the Barents Sea potentially could become an important oil and gas export region also for Sweden.
