Sweden has secured third place in a new Global Prosperity Index:

I have long admired Sweden’s economic system. I wish we in the US took care of our people the way Sweden does. I think we will only be able to do that when we get rid of the “winner take all” political system for some kind of parliamentary system.

Once again Sweden has done very well in the prosperous nations index.Congratulations.But it seems odd to me that the Swedish people have elected a goverment that seems determine to undermine the very ecomonic policies that produce this excellent results. The removal of property taxes, the increase mortage relief benefits and other such measures will fracture Sweden’s community unity and will result in a divisive society. This will undermine future economic growth.

Actually, Sweden came in a three-way tie for first place, along with Norway and the US. Sloppy reporting by The Guardian.

Sweden is a wonderful place to live. But it is also very expensive. To eat out is not an weekly event , like in th U.S.A. it is only for very special occasions very expensive. And cars, well that is for the rich, it is a luxury, a luxury many can not afford gas you know very very expensive. Most live in very small accommodations. My fam live there, and they all live together, they have to they can’t afford to live app art. And they are taxed to death. Bjorn Borg tennis player, Moved when he made it big because he wanted to keep his money. Had he not he would have paid through the nose in taxes
