Mayor Rahm Emanuel hails ‘Swedish-American’ Chicago

Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, former Chief of Staff for US President Barack Obama, highlighted his town’s “Swedish-American” history in a short video released on Thursday.

The clip was produced to coincide with the US Independence Day reception hosted by the US Embassy in Stockholm at the residence of current US ambassador Mark Brzezinski, whose wife Natalia, is also a Chicago native.
