Last night I had the exquisite pleasure of attending a holiday party at the new “it” place to rest your head in NYC, the Crosby Street Hotel. Located in a brick building on one of the more quiet blocks in Soho, it has that old school industrial feel from the outside. The decor inside – a dash art deco, a bit mod, with a few “flea market finds” thrown in that no one actually seems to find at a real flea market.
In a nod to its British roots – the company also owns numerous London spots like the Soho Hotel – the Crosby offers plenty of spaces to sink into a lunge chair, read a good book, and enjoy their afternoon tea service.
Rooms start around $500 but if you’re hear for the weekend and feel like a splurge, try the $1,850 Meadow Suite with your own NYC rooftop garden.
