Seems as if Google’s Street View doesn’t want any liability actions. Not from a wooden statue at least.
Old Man Rosenbom hails from the Swedish town of Karlskrona. His image was captured when Street View filmed the streets and squares of Sweden. His image has been blurred in order to “preserve his integrity” a regular service Google provides for the human faces caught on film.
Smart technologies are still not smart enough yet. Not to discern between reality and art.
I wonder which other street images are blurred.
