Now that Germany and France are the most important European players in determining WHO should be Europe’s first President, since what they say goes, we the smaller people have to make our voices felt, since we do not have so much weight to throw around, be it monetary or nuclear. Leave it to me just me and our Fredrik should get the top job - unlike the French and the Germans ( not to mention some of those other other Europeans) speaking on behalf of the European Union our Fredrik did not choose to address the UN General Assembly in Swedish.
I can think of four outstanding reasons why our Fredrik should be the first President and his partner the First Lady of post -war Europe, but before we get there, there’s this article which appeared as a guest Dagens Nyheter editorial on 29th October 2009:
