Putting it mildly:
I fail to see what all the fuss is about really. These fake criticisms are so tiresome. They don’t make as much noise about dropping their bombs on innocent civilians.
Now, in case they don’t know what ADAB is all about, let me explain this to them:
There are various ways of showing respect – and part of that respect is showing respect in the traditional way of the country in which you are an honoured guest.

we can only assert that Brother Barack
did not kowtow
did not violate the Holy US constitution, or any decent internationally acknowledged social
norms outside of America
did not prostrate or make sujjud to any foreign god
did not make any racist remarks –
and frankly speaking, the holier-than-thou sticklers who
want to make such overly exacting and unreasonable demands on the Brother White House,
want to put some chains on Brother Obama’s spontaneous politeness and sense of respect
for other people,
other cultures,
other traditions etc
( with daft ideas and not so deft opinions that Sister Michelle should not have shown spontaneous affection – perhaps love too and respect for Her Majesty Queen Elisabeth II of England by hugging her but should have curtsied like a house maid in one of them Southern ante-Bellum slave movies)
and all those who require that the president of the United States of America
and leader of the free world should correspond to exactitudes of their own stiff-necked nature
or who don’t like such courtesies being expressed by an African American president ,
they can do what Madiba Nelson Mandela said:
“ Go jump in a pool”
or better still take simple directions from Comrade Roberto Mugabe :
“Go Hang! “
