Happy Birthday Filippa!

Friday, May 29th, 2009

You can’t imagine the feeling I’ve got right now, my grades are set and it’s only a week left until I graduate. Feels so good! Finally I don’t have anything specific that I need to do so now I have time to have a personal life! To hang out with my friends for instance.

Anyhow, now I’m sitting in my friend Filippa’s kitchen who is host for her birthday dinner!  She’s turning 18 so she’s the youngest in our gang. Now Linn is popping up the champagne (or sparkled wine really, but who cares…) so now I should be a bit more social.

Another pair of gladiator sandals

Friday, May 29th, 2009

Friday and it seems that it will be a wonderful day later on, feels good after the rainy weather yesterday. My gladiator sandals were like half a size too big so my sister bought them from me instead and the plan was that I should order new ones when we got home. But when I logged into Nelly.com I saw that the shoes were sold out in my size! By the way, I’m creating a new category called ‘All about SHOES’. It’s in my blood to love shoes! Haha… Anyway, I bought another pair of gladiator sandals but from H&M instead (yeah I know, could just go down to the nearest shop to buy a pair but it so much nicer to go to the post office to pick up a packet!). They will be perfect in Italy and Greece as well. Almost forgot! It was a real bargain as well, they only cost 198:-!

Keep your fingers crossed

Thursday, May 28th, 2009

Oh gosh, please readers, comment more! I mean it’s nice to get some response :) . Anyhow, the job interview went… Yeah that’s a good question. Job interviews are not part of my favourite things to do, perhaps because I’m more used to ask the questions. It felt like I talked not concrete enough and didn’t give the perfect answers. Come on, please God, make the job mine, I need the money! And I have a meeting at my café job tomorrow, my boss wanted to talk with me about me working there, hope it only concerns positive things… I like working there! I don’t have a good patience. Must work on that if I want a career in telemarketing/customer services… Keep your fingers crossed for me!

So now I’m sitting here writing on my final religion report that I need to submit tomorrow. Have about half of it left. I’m soon heading off back to town again, I’m going to meet my mom and my sister for dinner at some Greek place. Just love Greek food, thinking of taking moussaka and a dessert. Yummy.

Then I have a question to you, my readers; What should I write more about? My interests? My work experiences (the café)? Or do you perhaps want to follow my personal life more in depth?

8 days left – I don’t want to die on my graduation day…

Thursday, May 28th, 2009

What a horrible day today, I haven’t missed the rain at all. Apart from that it has been a good day so far. When I came to Brommaplan this morning I saw a girl wearing a students’ cap and I conlcuded that it was her graduation day. Felt a bit sorry for her that it rained on her big day and then I realized that in eight days it’s my turn! Can’t believe it’s so close.  Perhaps it’s then life starts for real. That reminds me about yesterday’s episode of Grey’s Anatomy. A group of college students came in to the emergency on their graduation day. They were at least 10-15 and only one of them survived, a girl who have postponed her life until the big day. The worst thing that could happen on graduation day is to die, honestly. We have all been waiting so long for this day and all of us probably can’t wait to see the world. Must remember that tv-series are fictional and reality is reality. I will for sure though listen to typical ‘graduation/seperation songs’ like Graduation song – Vitamin C and Forever Young - Alphaville/Youth Group.

Blondie

I’m glad that I had the day off today ’cause it has been so stressful and hectic today. Before I began to study I ate a nice breakfast and then I worked on my business plan. The second last thing I submit in high school! The grades are set on Friday and I’m not done yet. Should I feel stressed about that fact? I’m sure it will work out.

So, during my study time my cellphone rang and it was a woman who wanted me to come to a job interview! The job concerns telemarketing/customer services so perhaps not the most enjoying work. But, money is money! I hope that I get the job, but it won’t be the end of the world if I don’t as I already have a café job. However, that job is so dependent on how the weather is as they only have a beer garden and is closed when it rains. So if I get the other one I get the opportunity to work at least.

After studying I went to south of Stockholm to the salon where my friend does her hairdresser internship at. She fixed my hair and made it a looot lighter. So now I’m really Miss Blondie! :) After that I shopped for a while and thereafter I went home where I found an advice from the mail. I went down to the post office and picked up a package of two pair of shoes. They’re perfect of course!

Ohohoh! I almost forgot. My boyfriend and I booked the trip yesterday, he wasn’t so pleased with going on his birthday so we chose Skiathos instead (where they shooted Mamma Mia!). I’m so looking forward for that!

Before I run to school…

Tuesday, May 26th, 2009

Apparently I write like old people. See, you learn something new every day. Anyway, I just remembered that I promised to show pictures of when I was dressed like Marilyn Monroe. Here’s some. My boyfriend Joel was Marilyn’s second (or third?) husband Arthur Miller who was an actor if I remember correctly.

I’m in shoe heaven!

Tuesday, May 26th, 2009

The sun is shining here in Stockholm so hopefully it will be a gorgeous day today as well. This day there’s natural science, history and small business on my schedule. I can’t believe that three years almost are over. Feels so wierd. Speaking about graduation, yesterday I bought new shoes for the big day. They’re lovely but extremely high, 13 cm high heels! I’m 168 cm tall and my boyfriend is 178 cm tall so you can conclude that I will be taller than him… He has threatened to wear his awful boots that would make him a bit taller. Hope he won’t do that that.

These are my lovely graduation shoes:

A pair of ballerina shoes that I also bought.

Should I buy these gladiator shoes? They seem so nice…

Now back to business (literally!).

Update: I bought the gladiator shoes… Oops! :P They will be perfect for both Greece and Italy this summer (yes, I’m going to Italy as well :D ).

Greece this summer!

Monday, May 25th, 2009

Before I say anything else; I promise to update better!

When that’s said I must say where I’m going this summer! So excited, will be so nice. The destination? Kefalonia, Greece! Have been to Greece twice before but never to this island, but it seems to be a lovely island. Pictures really says more than words. All I can say is: The beaches! The sea! And the view! To sum it up; it will be wonderful :D . I’m going in August, but before I book anything I must speak with my boss to see if it’s okay that I’m away a week.

Pics of Kefalonia:

Beautiful, huh? Anyone who’s been to Kefalonia?

Marilyn and I

Friday, May 22nd, 2009

marilyn_monroe_laughing

So far the long weekend has been awesome. I’ve been to  student parties two days in a row, that’s always nice! On Wednesday I followed my boyfriend to his childhood friend’s party which had a theme of “famous couples”. We were Marilyn Monroe and Arthur Miller, have to put up some pictures later – I was almost a copy of her! Yesterday one of my best friends had her party and I chose to have my converse so I could dance all night! So, two days of pleasure, but that’s over now. Unfortunately. I have to continue to write my social studies essay… But not so much left :) . Should get started now! Talk to you later and then I should upload som pics from the party nights!

newmarilyn_2856429

Oh god, Marilyn was so gorgeous! My friends sometimes say that I’m alike her and I’m honoured to have any similarities with her beautiful look!

P.S. Readers, could you please improve on leaving comments? :)
