They Call Me Sweden

Well, I\'ve now moved to Cardiff, UK for studies so you\'ll get to follow all of my new experiences. Like living on my own for the first time. In a new country.

I’ve become a home styling maniac!

My boyfriend recently moved into his first apartment and it has really awoken my desire to also move away from home. Not surprisingly, most advices of how he should style the place has come from me. I think he likes it though and I try to remember that it’s his place and not mine. :) But, don’t you agree with me that it’s so fun to shop for furnitures, decorations and other home stuff? So today when I found the cutest couch ever I decided that I would give it to my boyfriend as a Christmas gift. It won’t be a secret though (unfortunately…), I was so excited about it so I had to tell him. So it will be placed in his apartment in the coming days. :D

Here’s the sofa. Nice, huh? :) The shade of green is a bit darker in reality, the camera of my mobile phone isn’t the best.

When he says he doesn’t care if you take over the interior design, don’t believe him. It’s his flat, he’s paying for it and he will only grow to resent you if you do it in your style and not his.

And another tip: he will HATE that couch.

My grandmother had a couch like that and she was from Russia and was blind , even she did not like it.

That couch is hideous, but also, the ugliest sofas are the BEST. I LOVE THEM. Altough, I would never choose to put it in my own home, I just regard it as a luxury item that should be digested in seldom doses.

erm….. don’t give up your day job. Styling is definitely not your thing. The couch is truly hideous. They say true love is blind though….

FOR EVERYONE: The sofa is much nicer in reality, my mobile phone’s camera is hideous and the picture don’t give its justice. The colour is not goldish, it’s green and fits into my boyfriend’s room. Besides, probably no one of you would ever come to his flat, so why do you care so much??

Caleb: He do love me :) But, he would be honest to me and say the truth if he didn’t like the sofa. And he wouldn’t let me put ANYTHING into his home that he didn’t like. I promise you.

Paddy: I know it’s his flat (actually he’s sharing it with a friend so I only have a bit of control over his room) and I’m only giving advices – if he don’t agree with me he would say against me.

Zack: And where are you from? The UK? And you’re a fan of lace curtains as circus 50% of the British population?

Hermes: Yes I paid for it, it looks better in reality and I don’t care if you don’t like it. The most important is if my boyfriend likes it and he DOES.

Wynn: Hrm, the ugliest sofas are the best? Don’t see your point there.

Rachel: Don’t worry, I’m not even consider a futer in the interior business :)
