About Louce Minds the Gap
Who am I?
I’m an 18 year old student soon to graduate from high school and dreaming about a career as a journalist. I was born in Sweden and have never lived abroad, but I go to the International Section at Kungsholmens Gymnasium (meaning that all my classes are taught in English) and could see myself living abroad later. I’ve got conditional offers to both the University of Sheffield and Cardiff University where my dream to be a successful journalist will hopefully start to come true.
Why am I writing about how it is to be young in today’s Sweden?
The reason for writing about how it is to be a young student in Sweden is that I want you to get an perspective on what it is like to be young in our present society and how hard it sometime can be. It’s not always easy. Perhaps it’s different to grow up in Stockholm compared to other societies in the world, and perhaps I was lucky that I got born here.
I like my life. Even though I’m often so stressed out it’s fun and I have the best friends a person could ask for. You will follow my life basically, see how I tackle all my obstacles. I promise that it will be fun to read my blog! Later when I go to university I will write about how it is to be a Swedish student in the UK.
