I thought I would share the song that started my Eurovision passion, and also is my favorite Eurovision winner/song ever. It is no other than Dana International with “Diva”, the winner from 1998. The year after Sweden won with Charlotte Nilson in Israel. But back to Dana, when I saw this number I thought it was wonderful. And it is everything that Eurovision is for me. Glitter, glamour, ground breaking (a transsexual representing Israel) and a uptempo, catchy, euro-disco song with power! I LOVE this so much. Hope you will too.
