I had intended to get this blog up a little sooner, but nevermind!
You all know the deal, English girl meets boy, moves to sweden to live with said boy,yep this is one of them. While the posts will sometimes reflect that I also hope to be some use in talking about the Swedish courses I’ve been doing (Folkuniversitetet and SFI), and those little day to day hurdles.
I’m an Engineering geologist by trade, currently on a sabbatical from my UK company – as such prior to coming out I wanted to have a swedish course booked. From The Local discussion boards the course at the Folkuniversitetet was recommended, I’ve studied swedish there from A1 to B1+ level, and began SFI just over a month ago at D level. I’ll try write some ‘reviews’ over the coming journal entries to get up to date with where I am now.
