In the very busy life I lead my life really revolves around my Iphone. I know that sounds a bit geeky but without it I don’t know how I would survive. On the move I can catch up on my emails, facebook, Twitter, blog, get in touch with my publisher and family, call my girlfriend and above all listen to some essential Swedish.
Being a relative newbie to the language I have the quintessential language CD’s from Rosetta Stone and Berlitz and when I have a free moment I turn on and find myself slowly mouthing the basic Swedish like a goldfish trying to gasp for air. One thing that I do find essential are the Radio Sweden Podcasts. It takes me a few minutes to download each one and I then have 30 minutes a day of the latest Swedish news, sport and at the end some quirky news and some rather dodgy music. To some it maybe bad listening but to me it’s possibly the most essential thirty minutes of my day.
There has been no update to this for the last week; the last update was 24th May. Two emails and two Twitter messages and still no reply. I can still listen to them but it means I have to be around WIFI or 3G and it’s too much hassle I just need to download it from ITunes and listen to it in my own convenience.
If Radio Sweden have pulled this then some kind of announcement would be appreciated, without these podcasts my knowledge of Sweden is limited.

I would say find someone to practice speaking Swedish. I found people to chat with through chat sites like shared language chat and so forth. Good Luck!
