The Swedish Teacher

If you want the answers, you just have to ask!

Take a quiz!

Hej!

I hope everyone is enjoying the summer. I’m looking forward to the midsummer celebration here in Los Angeles on Sunday. “Små grodorna” in 95 F degrees is quite an experience! :) If you have bad weather this weekend you could always stay inside and take some of my quizzes.

The quizzes require a name, and even when adding any name they don’t accept it, is there a trick?

My sambo did some questions in one of those and it said he was wrong when he was right!

I’m Swedish by the way. :)

Wow! What a list. Thanks for these :)

It might take a while but I’ll get 100% on all of them one day :) I’m currently trying to change the way I learn Swedish (I’ve failed to stay motivated a number of times in the past) so I’m taking it slowly and setting mini-goals for what I want to achieve. My first is to learn and use 100 of the most common Swedish words in 4 weeks. When I talk to my Swedish friends on Skype I’m now talking in English but replacing words e.g. “och” instead of “and”, “är” instead of “is”, “are” and “am”.

It’s been weird so far but I’m confident it’s going to help a lot more than what I tried previously.

I’m documenting it all on my blog: http://www.howtolearnswedish.co.uk . After the 100 words I’ll set another goal, and another etc. I know have your quizzes to test myself on too :)

    Tack!

I might aswell add that one of the quizzes also has an error. Its the second one of adjectives (with the opposites)..

For “ful” i wrote “fin” and it says it’s wrong, while it is correct (im swedish). Vacker, fin, snygg are some of the synonyms. Anyway, just adding. Great tests, will use them on my boyfriend :D Thanks!
