Last week we tasted 25 wines from several different countries and selected exactly none of them for inclusion in our range. Zero wines does not help our selection of wines for 2010 range but it was actually funny to taste through such an amazing collection of wines with enormous potential but in reality did not make the grade.
This is one of the less than fun parts of our job. What we never tire of is meeting our members throughout Sweden and introducing them to quality wine. As many of you know who have been to one of our tastings, we have a superb team of trained sommeliers who travel the country spreading the good wine word. Lina AW and Sarah are responsible for arranging the events and this week you will find them in Göteborg, Malmö and at the Älskar Mat fair in Malmö. Drop by and say hi to Magnus, Matilda and Jakob too! By the end of this year our tireless team will have held over 80 events and met literally thousands of members from Haparanda in the north to Malmö in the south and many places in between! Any suggestions where we should visit next year?
Our members must appreciate the opportunity to meet us and taste the wine because our business is continuing to grow and grow mostly through word of mouth. September was a fantastic month and October looks like being even better as the word spreads that wine lovers finally have choice.
Six months ago we started our wonderful cooperation with Bring Express to offer home delivery to everyone in this long and fine country and last week we had a review of the service. Clearly our members appreciate the ability to have quality wine delivered home at night and our relationship with Bring Express has been a very positive improvement to our business.
