I know it’s been a long time since I’ve posted anything. That has mostly been because I’ve been trying to keep this blog strictly about Sweden, and in that regard, I just haven’t had anything to say. Since my last post I’ve continued using Rosetta Stone and other sources to improve my understand of the language. However, the Rosetta Stone program has become way too boring and completely lacking in any real challenge, so my studies have slowed a bit.
So, let’s see, what’s new? Um, I’ve tried entering the dating scene recently. What a joke that is! I had sworn off women and/or relationships after my last one ended. But after 9 months on my own, I can honestly say that I’ve just been bored. So yeah… dating…. lame. Why the games? I would love to dismiss the “teachings” of my friends and believe that there are people out there that don’t react positively to misleading and counter intuitive behaviour; who act and respond truthfully. Alas, I think I am wrong… so, dating? Forget it.
What else? Oh, I had another birthday recently. Pesky things… they keep coming! I’m already about a dozen over where I thought they’d end. Damn!!
Alright, back to Sweden (figuratively of course)… I have booked my first week in a hostel in Stockholm already. My second week I’m leaving open for now. I’d rather see how the first week goes before I commit to anything else. I’m really, really hoping to catch a lot of good live music while I’m there… any suggestions?
