It should say on the website - after 90 days from the date of application, it is no longer visible there. Scared the hell out of me too a while back

For some reason I was reading it as saying they no longer listed it 90 days after it first showed up as registered online, which took a few months. But thanks for the reply, and it's good to know I'm not the only one worrying about this.

hello, where you from?i understand we are worried,for this waiting time !im also nearly 5 months on may 10,and i hear to my man also when he was called to mv almost 300x he never got any answered ! we hpoely got the decission soon !keep in touch this site are helping for us ,,,,,,

My boyfriend and I met when im on a vacation, I moved with him for like 3months because for the 2months i lived with my relative. I had this interview last january 2013 at the consular in sweden in manila. the lady told us (me and my boyfriend) that it will take 3-4months for the processing time..is it true? right now its on the 3rd month. and I checked at the migrationsverket that their is no decision yet..im getting worried now. coz he once had an ex-gf which is a thai and they lived together and broke up alredy.would it affect my application?

Hej,,when i had been interview they are not told me that 3/4 months but we know the decied its take 4 months standing on web !but still im waiting nearly 5 months on may 10,yes i understand you we are worried because of waiting time , ,can i ask where they live together in sweden?and how long the relation ,because you are not write her so clear the relation they had before thats why im asking but no problem that relation are fast is fast ,,,,,keep in touch ,,,,,,Regards Pinai.

Hi, guys! I have the same concerns by waiting too long without any updates from Migrationsverket. However, i was informed from other applicants from other forum that the processing time might be largely depended on the municiple in which the applicant is going to move in. The cases are handled regionaly, which means in certain area like Stockholm the processing time could be extremely long (I have be waiting for the email to book the interview for 14 weeks after my boyfriend any i sent the online application, and yet have not recieved anything from Miragtionsverket . although we did call several times and all they could tell was that our application has been recieved and we have to wait and the proximate waiting time is up to 5 months. Add another 7 more weeks it will be 5 months, and i am not so faithful that it could be done as the MV said, in 5 months.

Are there anyone also applied to move in with girlfriend/boyfriend (i mean the relation status is not married but just cohabitates) in STOCKHOLM and your waiting time for the interview or decision take longer than 3 months?

If many people can confirm this, then, it is just that they have got a lot of things to do in Stockholm office and those applicants with similar cases like me have to wait more time.

I'm experiencing the same thing! We applied on January 20th and have heard absolutely nothing. He lives in Stockholm as well. I called the MV and all the lady would say is "Your application has not yet been assigned to a caseworker." in response to every question i asked. She did confirm the 5 month waiting time and stated the interview and decision would occur in that timeline.

just for an update.. ihave my permit already..its not an online application but instead i used the form itself and submit it the consular at manila.

january 2013 - submit and interview
feb 27- bf got a mail to answer the questionaire
april 26- granted but bf received the mail april 30

3months..

The mills of God do grind exceeding slow - as does the bureaucracy here in Sweden.
Sometimes jogging peoples' memory helps, sometimes not.
Just be patient - everything - well most everything - comes to he who waits.
Take it easy, guys and gals. On the forum you will get all kinds of answers, from some who have got their permits in no time at all, from others who have been waiting for ages. At times luck is the factor behind a quick reply, and delays can be caused by the Swedish fika. Although I have found that there are quite a few either non-Swedes or perhaps new Swedes working at MV but whether they work any faster or not - - - - -
