Need to replace my 3GS and when I bought it 3 years ago, it was without an agreement but locked to Telia's network for a year. For those who did the same but for the 4S, was that still the case or was it unlocked at purchase?
Also, the new phone uses a new nano Sim and you'll need a direct replacement as I understand. No cutting old SIms to fit as the new one is also thinner. Do you know how this will work with replacing current Sims via Telia? Thanks in advance. PS.. this post is nothing to do with the pros and cons of the iPhone vs Samsung etc.Whatever works for you..works for you. It's a free world...well at least when it comes to getting a mobile :0) |

No idea regarding the unlocking, but in regards to the new sim... Usually Telia supply this also with a new number. They then transfer your old number to your new (temporary) number and this can take a day or 2. So you get to keep your old number, but have to use a new number for a day or so until its replaced/updated.
It may not be the same if you have a payasyougo account. |

When I needed a new micro SIM for my Nokia lumina from Tele2, I just powered up the with the new sim and entered a code tele2 gave me and the old number was transferred immediately after I confirmed receipt of a text message
