Hi.
I am certified medical massage therapist from USA. Actually I would like to move to Sweden and for that reason I need information: is it possible find the job with my skill? In addition to medical massage I do relaxation, reflexology, body stretching, stress reduction and pain relief as well. Any information and help are welcome.

Hello, me again.
I just would like to update my post.
I'm doing that job for more then 1 year until now. Mostly in Kiropraktik office.
So if anybody know how i can find the job in Sweden with my skill please let me know.
I can work in Kiropraktik office, hospitals, clinics, retirement homes and wellness centers as well.

That would be hard because you need to know Swedish in order to work in hospitals so you could communicate with patient . Sweden is very hard on this and you must speak the language in order to get job here. If you wanna come here try to start studying Swedish and I am sure you would get job here. Since everybody like massage

Could be wrong as I don't live there, but I'd assume that therapeutic massage therapy in Sweden is the same as in Canada or the USA as a regulated profession? You'd have to write qualifying exams to practice quite likely.

Your best bet would be to find out about this via a national board licensing organization or association that represents massage therapists or contact any of the colleges that teach massage therapy.

I am a qualified massage therapist I am a 37 year old young woman. Aroma, refreshing foot massage, hot stone massage is taught, I live in a spa in Hajdúszoboszló, Hungary. I would like to work in Sweden, but I do not have this opportunity, because now I learn English - and do not speak Swedish. Hajdúszoboszló € 2 an hour worked in the local hotel and spa. I do not know where to look will be.
