Hi all,

I'm starting up a new business in Eksjö, Jönköping Län and I need to rent a caterer's kitchen or any commercial kitchen for a few hours a week ( as many as possible).

Does anyone know anywhere that is available?

Do you have all of your own business permits etc? ie are you a registered business just looking to share premises

I'd suggest placing an ad on Blocket to see if there is anything available, won't cost you much.

Puffin- I'm all kosher just needing an actual kitchen to share until orders are higher and I get my own premises. Also being in Dalarna why are you commenting on a subject regarding somewhere in småland? just a question...

I imagine that, just like me she was just trying to help you.

Personally I would think it will be pretty hard for you to find someone to rent you kitchen time because of the permit situation. I have a premises which is authorised and inspected by the kommun for food production. The authorisation is for one very low risk category only. So first off the place you rent will have to have the correct risk category which you require.

The bigger issue for me as the authorised party is that the inspectors can arrive unannounced at any time to make an inspection and if you were in any way lacking in your hygiene standards the premises could be shut down immediately putting my business in jeopardy.

I'm just trying to help you and give you the perspective of someone who would be in a position to sub let time, but as I say I think it will be difficult to find someone to sub let time in a commercial kitchen.

Dude that is not a problem as I have said that I have all my permits already as a producer and my kommun inspection liason recommended that I share a premises before I get a bigger premises at a new industrial park that is under construction here, so what you are saying is not really relevant as I wasn't asking about permits in the first place, I was asking about actual places.

Not really that amazing just put out feelers 2 days ago and plenty of caterers are up for it here in Eksjö. We have a good support of businesses here compared to other parts of Sweden. being postive always has just rewards...
