Me and my family have recently moved from the UK to Sweden... we are near to Klippan...

I am currently not working, so literally only have my 2 year old to speak to in the day when she isnt at nursery... Would love to be able to meet people - Swedish or English - it does get pretty lonely out here when the other half is at work all day ...

xx

My partner and I are just considering a move to Malmo/Lund from Bristol for his work. My biggest area of research is education for our kids ( aged 5 and 8). As English speakers they'd need International school and I visited both Lund (ISLK) and Bladins on a recent trip so I have something to go on but what I'd really like is some independent advice. Do they have anything like OFSTED to review attainment etc in Sweden?
Would love your experience on how your children have settled into International school and IB from the UK model.

Thanks
Jen

Counselling and Psychotherapy in English
Sometimes living in another culture can cause stress, confusion and feelings of sadness and loneliness. Talking to a professional psychotherapist/counsellor might help you. I am a UKCP Reg. psychotherapist. My practice is in Södermalm, Stockholm.
