Student to self-employed residence permit

How can I change my residence status?

Can I work as an employee for any company while being a Self-Employed business owner???

It also states you must have a residence permit in Sweden. If the student visa is over and the waiting time for self employed visa takes 11 months the OP will be here without visa.

No, your visa will state that your employment is only for your own business.

Yes you can registrate your company before you get your RP.I did that. Started a AB which at the time you needed 100,000 SEK. I had another 100,000 SEK in my business account. Additional 100,000 business line of credit from Nordia. Had two veteran Swedish business leaders on my board of directors. I owned a villa on the sea and a cottage in the forest, had a sensible business plan and was ready to commence. I was still required to leave Sweden, back to the U.S. and wait for the visa.

As you have gone through from whole this procedure, I would really appreciate if you could let me know which were the necessary documents you attached while applying?
Also, if you could send me some samples of those documents will definitely help me a lot in securing my case.

so whats the better route:

Go to school under a student visa then switch over to a self employed UT

or

Apply for self employed residence and go to school while operating the busines?

I have a question that I need answers to as well ! I have come to Sweden as my husbands dependent and he got a work permit , he is qualified in another trade but he came to Sweden as a cleaner ! And he has now lost interest and feels his lacking of practicals in hotel sector is loosing his touch on cooking etc, and wants to go back to his old job back in our country ! But I feel it's better if we remain here as it is much better for or kids ! I have started my own company a month back and rented a space in a tattoo studio ! I want to know if I can apply for self employed while he is on his work employment and if I could really apply for self employment from sweden and what I need to do in order to remain on Sweden as a self employed and of my application is approved it will be good for my husband to resign and start a job in his hotel trade ! Pls reply with possibility and advise ! Appreciate much
