The following line appeared in an article in The Local today:
'The dogs were put down late Sunday evening, while their owner is now suspected of violating Sweden's laws regarding the oversight of cats and dogs' I'm intrigued as to what laws it is referring to. In particular 'the oversight of cats'. |

I would imagine some litteral translation. I expect what they were trying to say was "control" - regarding the control of cats and dogs.

I would imagine some litteral translation. I expect what they were trying to say was "control" - regarding the control of cats and dogs. That's what I thought. I was more intrigued at the oxymoron 'control of cats' and in what way we, mere humans, were expected to control supreme beings. Thanks will read that when my master isn't giving me evils from on top of the bookcase. |

QUOTE § 21 A cat that can reasonably be assumed to be ... feral, may be killed ... Read that and weep you furry spawn of Satan. |

Ours doesn't. It just glares at us from the top of the bookcase with a look of utter contempt. I swear it'd happily kill us in our sleep if it could work out how to operate the can opener.

I like cats. They taste like chicken.

Have you heard:...The cat walks on my keyboard!...I think he/she/it actually, LIKES ME!
Dogs can't pull that one off! |

And as I look out of my window, I can see that it is raining cats and dogs.
