I am leaving my current employer and they need to replace me ASAP. It is a fairly technical role, and does involve regular "On Call" support, nights and weekend. Fluency/near fluency in Swedish is an absolute must as you will be dealing with various third parties (in a range of technical issues) in the Swedish language.
Ideally you have worked with some of the following; SCADA systems / Satellite systems / Microsoft Technologies / Database Administration / Networking / Help Desk. PM me for more info. |

Not my domain, but I'm curious: how are you compensated for the night/weekend "on call" time? I don't suppose it is full pay, but do you get some hourly rate for the 16 hours a day outside of the normal daily office hours?

PDX, interesting question raised.
I would like to tell you about my company . 1 week on call every 8 weeks . this week , we get a standby amount of 4000 SEK. which means we get this amount even if we do not get any calls , + about 350 sek per hour during 17.00 - 22.00 about 450 sek per hour during night time and weekends. + 1 Friday off Do you think it is as per standards? |
