TheLocal Removing Immigration Stories on Homepage

Was on the local early this morning due in part to my work and noticed a story on a breakdown of statistics about immigration statistics this year compared to previous years. The story was on for most of the day with about 11 comments by about noon.

I went to read what recent comments there might have been on the story at about 3pm and the story was gone.

Is this censorship what we want in a news translating website?

My guess is that there is some protocol for what gets highlighted on the page. I mean they are trying to make some money from the site so there is perhaps some strategy for what gets seen, for how long and where.

But I don't think the stories are actually removed.
