No surrender! Up the republic!

It has been too quiet, for too long.

New laws aren't always good ones.

Why do I have to use "fill in words"?

Here, a good article in today's Irish times:
http://www.irishtimes.com/newspaper/opinio...4328803542.html

Basically saying that the unionists have everything they want (i.e., the Union with the UK) but still make a huge fuss about tiny things like on which days the Union Jack is flown.

Why not fly both flags every day...together and side by side?

The union flag is the only flag of northern Ireland (from what I understand).

I just want to point out, I personally am not opposed to any flag they want to have to represent themselves. But since the official government (be it right or wrong) have assigned the union flag for northern Ireland, then so be it.

If NI can agree on a new flag, which all can agree on ....

I'm sorry, "The Unionists"? A handful of ghetto dwellers are somehow representative of the 75% of people in Northern Ireland who favour Union?

I look forward to your posts in July when Ardyone hoods riot (again).

Why would you fly the flag of a foreign country like that?

It's a good thing that it's not IMO. Before it was out of step with the rest of the United Kingdom, now it's perfectly inline with it. All part of the normalisation process. Provos telling people to inform on republicans, ex provos administering British rule, less than 25% of the people having an "Irish identity"..all going in the right direction.

Yeah, the Union Jack is now being flown in Belfast just as often as it as flown at Westminster Abbey. For a handful of morons who are getting a disproportionate amount of press this constitutes total and complete surrender. Surrender to whom and from whom, we just don't know. Maybe Willie Frazer will tell us.

I hear Willie Frazer wants to march on government buildings in Dublin and order them to take down the Irish tricolour. If Enda Kenny has any brains he'll take down the tricolour and give it to Willie Frazer as a gift from the Irish people. And nobody will give a shit. That would be a very powerful moment. But Enda Kenny isn't known for his brains.

I think the vast majority of the population of both Britain and Ireland would like to see the six counties cut free and allowed to drift to the Arctic Ocean. biggrin.gif

Even the Irish have been affected by the Jimmy Savile atrocities.

In fact I saw an Irish copper arresting a group of paedos just last night.

He said 'Yewtree, get in the fockin van'..
