Very interesting to get opinions from other places in the world. I wonder how many have actually been to the states. This firearms debate is getting ridiculous over here. Political agendas focused on shootings with shootings as a resolution. People are purchasing and hoarding firearms recently trying to defend and uphold a half dead, misinterpreted amendment. It will only get worse from here I assume.

Don't know if this has been brought up.....I'm too lazy to read 65 pages, but the second amendment was intended not only for personal protection from foreign invasion, but the main reason for the amendment is
WHEN the government becomes too tyrranical the citizens will be able remove them to restore the constitution. And just for your knowledge, the japanese plotted to attack the U.S mainland inWW2 but realized the citizens were armed and would decimate their army.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention...Your chances of being a victim of violent crime are HIGHER in Scotland than in the U.S. and they have ALL handguns illegall there. They just all carry knives.

Today I went to the shooting range.

I had to try to shoot a gun to find out why all those gun lovers find it is so exiting owning/shooting guns.

Well I shot abot 20 rounds with both guns and rifles and did not have any erection and neither a ejaculation...

So my final answer is that there are no award owning a gun, so there you go. Don't joke me i really tried....

When I moved to Texas, I did not understand the shooting sports. But Texas has many, many gun owners. I first started shooting with friends and realized ir was a 'skill'. No different from people that do bowling or golf (which I love to do). After a while I began to think it was fun, but I have NO desire to shoot another man. In fact, I think it would haunt me for the rest of my life. But...I love to shoot guns now. I do not want to harm another. I do not want to shoot anyone, just as I do not wish to try to hit someone with a golf ball. Come to America and maybe your attitude may change? I did and I find it to be very fun. And like I said, I DO NOT want to be put in a place that I had to shoot someone. ....But I will if need be.

Oh, and by the way, you can play golf all year long in south texas. It is coooooool, yeah.
