Now the New York Times has an article covering up the plot that Bo Kilai, his wife Gu, deep MI6 agent Neil Heywood et al. put together over a decade to take over the Chinese Presidency later this year - what would then trigger a Chinese spring next year with another Sichuan-sort of disaster - the article acts as if there was no plot to seize political control, only to amass more and more money and economic clout.

The article instead of starting with this - what became a cockup when Neil was caught out in November, and killed in Chongquin - starts in January when the plot's unraveling was gathering pace, and Bo's leading associates in the takeover plot,billionaire XU Ming, businessman Ma Biao, and intellingence chief Yu Junshi began fearing the worst, and fleeing to Australia.

It seems then that the fallout from the plot had stopped, so they came back, only for the falling out between Bo and police chief Wang to become public knowledge, thanks to the blog revelation that Heywood had been poisoned, and his body hastily cremated.

Now the whole gang is in the soup, but don't expect all the news that's fit to print will appear in the NYT.

As for being busted, seems it's your turn now, with the subtitle of this thread being changed back to what I originally posted, and you changed to you expected nonsense.

I have no power to change it, as I was reminded when I looked at the subtitle's history.

Now the New York Times reports that just when Bo Xilai's chances of becoming the next Chinese President - what he hoped to achieve by the influence that deep MI6 agent Neil Heywood, Bo's wife Gu, and others were able to exert on the CCP's Standing Committee, and what Bo hoped to overthrow the next time China was hit by a devastating disaster - were going down the drain because its Ministry of State Security (MSS) had discovered what they were up to, an aide of a vice minister of the MSS had been arrested and charged with treason in the matter apparently, and his boss is being questioned about his possible involvement in it.

The aide's arrest occurred just about when Bo's former police chief in Chongquin fled to Chengdu, and told the Americans, it seems, about Bo's and Gu's corrupt financial dealing with Heywood in the hope of keeping covered up what they had been attempting strategically in Beijing.

The aide's arrest is the biggest event in CIA-MSS affairs since the Agency discovered in 1985 that its former employee Larry Chin was a MSS agent. Chin was exposed by defector Yu Qiangsherry, and Chin allegedly committed suicide before his sentence was handed down.

Heywood was exposed, it seems, by the gossip that astrophysicist Oxofrd Professor Steve Rawlings engaged in while arranging the building and location of the Square Kilometer Array telescope, and because of which he was killed in January when he questioned St. John's College Dr. Devinder Sivia too pointedly about the whole murderous process.

Of course, the NYT made no mention of Heywood, Rawlings et al.
