Under the name of Global Restructuring, and tough competition from generic producers, more job cuts are on the way. But how many more job cuts can AZ handle until it isn't functioning as a research organization any longer, and just surviving on its existing range? I don't think the board has realized that patents run out and more, not less, research is required instead of acquiring IP or buying up other companies.
