Hi All,
I'm a Swiss national, looking forward to moving to Sweden later this year. I've heard that buying a house is easier than renting, so I am looking into it. I have two questions that I can't find an answer to anywhere. Firstly, in Switzerland, it is possible to take out a pension early to use for a deposit on a house. Is this possible in Sweden? Secondly, has anyone ever seen someone use a foreign pension for a deposit or to secure a loan on a house? Answers much appreciated! |

I'd wait a little, I think house prices might drop.

If you can wait for two years you might get twice as much for your money. Even one year might see radical drops in prices. But for a fully blown freddie-fannie development i think at least two years.
Start looking at prices and locations. Also, if you are not familiar with the area you are moving to, id suggest renting in that area to get a feel for the place. |

Whereabouts are you thinking of buying? There is a huge difference between the city and rural property markets.
Some of the rural property markets are rising rapidly at the moment as people in these areas have more disposable income and property has only recently regain its 1992 levels |
