Resident Permit Application

Which Swedish embassy do I use for Res Perm?

Hey question here: I am a canadian living in finland on a temporary resident permit (has been for more than 2 years). I am applying online for a swedish resident permit. Which embassy should I use for collecting my resident card? The one in Helsinki obviously is more convenient but I don't know whether I would be required to use my "home" embassy for doing this.

Helsinki is fine, as long as your Finnish residence permit is still valid. No need to travel back to Canada.

Surely you need to apply to Migrationsverket in Sweden, for permission to reside, as you're not from the EU...

The OP is asking where to collect the physical permit upon being granted a residence permit in Sweden.

He is applying online and they will ask you where you want to have your permit card sent.

In this case, it is Helsinki
