tried to find it myself, only found stuff like - http://www.smhi.se/nyhetsarkiv/regnigt-vec...-rekord-1.23037
http://www.smhi.se/kunskapsbanken/meteorol...dsrekord-1.6660 http://www.smhi.se/cm/sv?v=search&sear...ogi=Meteorologi their search facilities bring up many hundreds of articles, I would email them and ask how to access historic weather data. You could measure it yourself, for future rainfall of course. |

http://www.smhi.se/en/services/professiona...pitation-1.7670 and some historical rainfall maps here in the Swedish areas: http://www.smhi.se/klimatdata/meteorologi/nederbord |

I have personally kept figures of daily rainfall that are available, since 2003-01-01, but these figures are by an amateur, and also very local. I have noticed from newspapers that other areas have experienced both more and less precipitation compared with my figures. Sweden, being rather a large country, has a pretty wide variation in weather in all its forms as you will appreciate. Should you be interested in my figures, I should point out that they are compiled using Quattro Pro Version 8, a program by Corel, and not widely used since most everyone seems to prefer Excel for some reason or other. For me, this version of the program gives me the opportunity of achieving a day to day record on a years basis. Since the program does function even under Windows 7, despite being 'rather ancient', it might be possible to provide you with a copy should it be of interest to you. You can send me a PM in that case and we can take it from there. It is up to you if my data is of interest.

You can google underground weather sweden and you can get weather stations that are not official ones. Some of those sites have a years records you can access. Some don't. There is a list of over 100 cities in Sweden that have Weather sites.

Since you did not have the courtesy to even acknowledge my offer of help, either to accept or not, I can only hope that it rains on your parade and you get your figures - in wet water.
So much for trying to be helpful. |

Wow why is everyone so aggressive on here today. Is it that the dark long winter is coming fast!!!I actually looked for my post the other day of see if anyone had answered and I couldn't find the post so this is he first time since posting that I have found it again. Unless you have rain fall for vemdalen then I am not interested I simply want to know how much rain has fallen around me during these wet days. I guess this is just not common in Sweden.
