Hi,
I have a 8 year old Toyota van that i took with me as an import that i need to get some work done on. It is approaching 90,000 miles and needs a major service. I dont want to take it to the dealer as they charge an arm and leg and as this model isnt sold in Sweden i dont think they really know the vehicle. Any recommendation from anyone. City center or north Stockholm preferably. Thanks DanW |

If an authorized Toyota shop does not know about the model, no other shop will know either.

From my previous experience (albeit not in Sweden) Toyota are very good at supporting their vehicles worldwide.
For example I had a Japanese domestic market Toyota Soarer in Ireland and had no problem in getting parts for it in my local Toyota dealership. Before you dismiss the possibility of having your van serviced by Toyota I would suggest that you at least drop in to you local dealer's service department and discuss it with them. |

I share the opinion of Gordy. It would be more cost effective when you have it repaired at the authorized service center of Toyota. Try Googling for the exact location of the service center of Toyota in Stockholm.

All right then i will give Toyota a chance. As a rule i prefer independent garages as i think the dealers rip you off but i will see what they say.
