Eh, come pay a visit to Ireland. You'll see the extent of the complicity of the Catholic Church's hierarchy in covering up child abuse, in indirectly facilitating it by not actually doing anything about it and the Church's role in the vicious treatment of unmarried mothers and young women - the use of slave labour, of physical and psychological torture - and on occasion, the potential murder of those mothers and children.
