Hello everybody, i have been following this thread several months ago.
My case is the following, i've applied for asylum 7 months ago, and i knew my sambo 5 months ago and became to live with him, i receive the rejection of my asylum claim in february/2012, now i've made the web application in the beginning of april, and yesterday i was in the Swedish embassy for my interview, and i must to say it was very extensive it was one hour of questions about our relationship (and i feel it was more difficult compared with the stories of other cases of people of this forum), i show photos, letters, skype call logs, msn and facebook conversations; i reach to live with him 4 months in his apartment; my relationship is completly genuine we will get marry; but i'm scared about they must to have the presumption that i'm just applied for the papers; someone has been in the same situation? Thanks for reading. |

OP - I think that obviously given that you had a failed claim on different grounds just a couple of months before your new relationship that they are going to be extra thorough with the new one - it is a common situation for MV staff that people claim to have met the love of their lives a month or 2 after being rejected on other grounds
However it sounds as though you have done all that you can and that you have evidence that this a serious relationship - so all you can do now is wait and see |

I claim the conection with my sambo before the asylum decision was made; in fact in some part of the asylum decision they say (there are no grounds to consider the sambo application while im within Sweden), so i take the decision to come back to my country and make a online application; the MV staff in Norrköping tolds me that its a common situation but i dont have to be afraid because i had a good conduct in Sweden.

Hmm. You willingly went back to the country you were seeking asylum from in order to apply for a sambo permit. Sounds like MV might have been correct in turning down your asylum application then. Can't blame them for taking longer to be sure that this latest application isn't a hoax.

Other question about the online application; now that i have been interviewed i just have to sit and wait for the decision? or they will summon a interview to my bf?, the persson in the embassy tolds me that the decision will be ready in 1 month.

So after only 2 months in Sweden you found the love of your life without knowing anyone or the language? You then went back to your own country which you are seeking asylum from? I see now why you didn`t get accepted as an asylumseeker. It`s funny how many asylumseekers, who get rejected, find the love of their lifes just after a few weeks in Sweden.

So after only 2 months in Sweden you found the love of your life without knowing anyone or the language? You then went back to your own country which you are seeking asylum from? Migga, You have made the assumption here that everyone in Sweden only speaks Swedish, and that you don't believe in "Love at 1st Sight" Asylum applications are processed according to UN Refugee Convention, and entails an investigation of circumstances etc... There are many cases every year approved and rejected according to those rules. It is obvious they didn't consider the OP in danger, nor in need of asylum, so could return to home country. They do not consider relationships, as in sambo here, with regards the asylum process, it is about risk of being harmed or persecuted if asylum is rejected. Due to the time it takes, it is not uncommon that the applicant finds a new partner, sometimes bogus for permits, and many other times true. MG are used to dealing with these instances. OP, You did everything right It is just to wait and see what they decide. |
