I figure Summer will be over in 2 weeks. It is interesting to me how 1 day it is Summer and the next day it is Fall.
I have never seen the seasons so delineated as they are here. All in all, I think weather wise, it was a good Summer. Unfortunately I have seen no tornadoes yet this year - but still 2 more weeks to go. |

I am envious. Today, where I live, it will be 110. Autumn is around mid to end of October. I sick of the heat.

overall it's been a wetter and cooler summer for most. But yes, in less than a month there could easily be major ground frost for many, but then it might be fine right up to the end of Sept. Weather forecasts have been fairly inaccurate beyond 1 or 2 days ahead this year, so I wouldn't hold your breath, make the most of each day of sunshine. And on that note, I've finished my hobbits 2nd breakfast and I'm off out!

I agree: the seasons are far more clearly delineated than I ever experienced in the UK. So much rain this summer!! I haven’t even had to turn on the ‘summer water’ tap to water the garden plants. All watering has been done from the rain water collected in the tubs. I'm wondering now how long before I need to start using the firewood…? |

A lot depends on where you live - in the Northern parts of Sweden frosts and snow in August are normal

yeah, thought I would look in the paper now as I half scan this at the same time, +2 was the coldest air temp last night, so easily cool enough for a ground frost in places.

Been living in Sweden 12 months now and have no complaints about the weather. :-)
