Hello everyone,
My wife was looking into a job offer in Sweden. After several online interviews which seemed to go well she was told that she would get a reply by the beginning of the next week. The week is almost over and she hasn't heard back since. Is this common in Sweden? Could it be she didn't get the job and Swedish employers don't give out false notice? |

She could call and ask whether a decision has been made yet

If you don't jog their memory you could be waiting ad infinitum for a reply.

I work in an environment (University) where it usually takes 1-2 years for a decision to be made on tenured appointments - but this is rather unusual because of the drawn out "merit assessment" process
