So the wife decided that we were going to have fish for dinner tonight. She asked me what fish I wanted ( the freezer is full with cod plaice and salmon), I replied that I wanted British fish, chips and peas. problem no chips and no deep fryer, so she pops out to the shop ( I have already had my Friday single malt). Comes back with potato strips which is all Hemkop had.
If this is not a reason to leave this hell hole of a country, what is? |

I got around the problem by making my own. Tastes better than or equal to anything back home, it's so hard to find a decent chippy nowadays! I make my own sausages too! Great fun!
The only thing I have to buy is malt vinegar and thats what the English Shop is for |

You can't let this one slide, Rick. It's the thin end of the wedges.

This was taken up by Kingston before and was slagged off by 007, Streja and klubbknickers which ruined a good post. I do my own chips as frozen are rubbish even without a chip pan. Just do them in the oven.
